The Excellence in Manufacturing Consortium (EMC) is a unique not-for-profit
association of manufacturers and exporters.
EMC's goal is to facilitate each of its members' development, both individually
and collectively towards world-class competitiveness.
Formed in the early 1980s, EMC was formally incorporated in 1997. The
consortium is comprised of manufacturers and exporters who believe that
by achieving global levels of performance through world-class best practices
will they be able to meet the increasing demand for excellence in industry.
The consortium's focus is not just quality and production, but includes
all of the other elements that support excellence in the manufacturing
process.
